Stacy Glover - VP of Administration & Volunteer Director

Stacy Glover is currently serving as the VP of Administration and Volunteer Director. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the rescue, oversees all administrative responsibilities and ensures that the Board and Volunteers are working together to meet the mission of the organization. Stacy brings over 30 years of experience as an HR Specialist, Personnel Manager and Corporate Trainer to the rescue.
Stacy has served a continued active role with PPCR since 2015 and willingly accepted a Board position in 2021. Starting as a cleaner at the rescue house, she quickly volunteered for other areas. She consistently strives to improve the living conditions for the cats and kittens, and the volunteer’s working conditions. Stacy has worked effortlessly to establish policies that help train, educate, and manage their ever-expanding volunteer base. She achieved being able to quadruple the number of rescue volunteers in just a couple short years (we could still use more though). She continues to improve our website, boost our social media presence, and she likes to create fun and funny marketing materials. Stacy also ensures the rescue remains compliant by working with many regulatory agencies that make running a successful rescue possible.
In addition to her hours at PPCR, Stacy also volunteers with GA Pet Coalition, a group that passes animal protection laws through professional and grassroots lobbying, educates law enforcement, and supports spay/neuter initiatives, all in an effort to make Georgia a top tier state in animal protection laws. It is important to understand that Georgia can’t rescue our way out of a pet overpopulation crisis or animal cruelty, we must legislate.
Stacy has always been an animal lover! Growing up on a dead-end street in rural Illinois, she and her family often found and cared for abandoned and injured animals (of all kinds). Stacy and her husband share their home with a dog, a small army of cats and occasionally their adult children. She also has an extra soft place in her heart for special needs animals and has a few of her own.
